To get a feel of what theme I wanted to go with, I decided to just go straight out to the beach and take some photos. From there I can then identify some similarities with my photos and go down a specific route.
Yesterday I went to Burnham On Staithe, a small village near Wells Next The Sea on the North Norfolk Coastline. This already means that I need to expand the location area of my work to both Norfolk and Suffolk beaches. The weather was really bright and sunny which is exactly what I was after and it was not too busy which is good too.
Here are a few of the photos I took:
I have realised that a common theme with my photography from yesterday is boats. I have taken quite a lot of photos that in some way or another include a part of or thing related to boats. This could definitely be a theme for my work, depending on where I next go and whether there are any boats there or not.
Here are a few of my favourite photos from the shoot:
Sadly I could not get very close to many of the boats as they were in the mud/water, so I look to get closer to some at where ever I go next.
