Ism: noun, a distinctive practice, system, or philosophy, typically a political ideology or an artistic movement.
While we are at home for Easter, I thought it would be nice to make my book project on the area where I live (Suffolk). Suffolk is an incredibly historic county, famous for its witchcraft trials, tudor properties, cider and stunning pebbled beaches. As I take my dog for a walk at the beach a lot, especially Aldeburgh and Southwold, I thought it might be nice to make a photo book of these places. I do not want to go down a typical tourist photography route and may look at taking different photos of Suffolk Beaches. My project could then be titled ‘Suffolk-ism’ or ‘Beach-ism.’ I may then look to go down a more specific route such as things washed up on the beach like boats and debris, but this depends on what I find.
